By chance, Lloyd Alter from TreeHugger.com happened by while I was finishing up an install on a small green-roofed shed last week.
Green roofs, prefabrication, and modern design are three of his favorite things, so it was a happy coincidence!

Green Garage Blog
Green Garage began when our own garage needed to be replaced. Wanting to do something different and environmentally-friendly, we decided on building a green-roofed garage to replace the existing one that was close to collapse.
